HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL A NEW ROOF?
Triangle Roofing will start and complete your new roof as quickly as we can. We handle all roof permitting and inspection- scheduling. Once you have chosen your roof color and we receive the materials, the typical roof installation takes 3 days. You do not have to stay in your home during roof installation. The first day is to tear off the old roof and "dry in". A roof dry-in means we install a roofing underlayment on top of the wood substrate of the roof. Roofing underlayment will keep the inside of the roof structure dry. After the first day, we will have to wait for the city inspector before proceeding. On day 3 we install the shingles and clean up.
WHY ARE QUOTES TO REPLACE MY ROOF SO DIFFERENT?
Make sure the roofing estimate you receive includes everything you may require for a complete roof replacement. A variance in material type and cost will affect each roof quote. There are multiple Florida-approved material manufacturer and installation method options that can be used on the same roof. When getting a quote it is beneficial to request an itemized list of materials. Ask the roofing company if extra wood will be needed for the wood deck. Discuss the type of roof underlayment they think is best for your home. These factors will influence the total cost of a new roof.
DO YOU REPLACE ANY WOOD ON THE ROOF DECK?
Not replacing rotted or damaged wood on a roof deck could be a big mistake! If we find wood on your roof deck that is damaged, it is replaced. We replace all water or insect-damaged wood. Two sheets of plywood are included in each estimate. Anything after that will cost $85 per sheet replaced. Triangle Roofing, Inc. will communicate what is needed for your roof decking so that your new roof is installed right, providing the best protection for your home in the challenging Florida weather.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE DEBRIS ON THE JOB SITE?
At Triangle Roofing, Inc. we know how disruptive getting a new roof replaced can be. We protect your home and landscaping throughout the roof replacement process as well as provide a thorough clean-up upon completion. We use tarps to protect your plants, gardens and grass. We use dumpsters, and metal detectors to ensure that there are no pieces of metal or nails left behind. Debris will be cleared from your property and hauled away in our trailer.
