This fully self-adhered low-slope roof system delivers the time-tested performance of traditional multi-layer modified bitumen roofing without fumes or flames and for a fraction of the labor. A fast, protective system for commercial buildings.

Project Highlights:

  • Preparation: the existing gravel-surfaced built-up roof (BUR) is prepared for the new roof materials. Loose gravel is removed and a base is created for good adhesion.

  • Plywood is installed over the old gravel roof to create a smooth, solid substrate.

  • A base play sheet is then used under a self-adhered modified bitumen system.

  • The self-adhering membrane is applied to the base.

  • Completed according to Florida Building Code
